On 30th September, Jungle, a new British series centring on the British rap and drill scenes, is coming to Amazon Prime Video. Created and executive produce by Nothing Lost, Junior Okoli and Chas Appeti, who featured on Variety’s 10 Europeans to Watch list 2022, with Okoli also directing. Fonic provided ADR, voice over records and foley record and edit.
Made up of six episodes and told with both rap/drill music and dialogue, the series tells the overlapping stories of several strangers overcoming various struggles and gives a perspective into an often-unseen world set in inner city London. Frequently misunderstood, it’s a world where one law governs everything; only the strongest survive. As the strangers’ worlds begin to unravel around them, they come to the realisation that every action, no matter how small, has a consequence.
The U.K.’s top rap and drill artists feature in the series, including Tinie Tempah, Big Narstie, Unknown T, Jordan McCann, Jaykae, IAMDDB, Double Lz, M24 and more.
