ASIFA-Hollywood’s 49th Annual Annie Awards™, recognising the year’s best in the field of animation, took place on Saturday 12th March 2022. Chipotle’s ‘A Future Begins’, a film that focused on Chipotle’s work around human welfare, directed by Johnny Kelly, produced by Nexus Studio and featured audio from Fonic won the Sponsored film award.

The Annie Awards™ cover 36 categories and include Best Animated Feature, Best Animated Feature-Independent, Special Productions, Short Subjects, Student Films and Outstanding Individual Achievements, as well as the honorary Juried Awards.

ASIFA-Hollywood is the world’s first and foremost professional organisation dedicated to promoting the Art of Animation and celebrating the people who create it.
