Fonic has been working on Peppa Pig since series one back in 2006 but it wasn’t until 2020 and the Covid-19 pandemic and the need to socially distance that Fonic and the Peppa Pig team worked remotely across the mixing process, which we did via Evercast.

The software combines video conferencing and HD live streaming in one web-based platform, which means secure, real-time collaboration that all collaborators can see and hear as though they were in the studio at Fonic.

Across 24 episodes Fonic and the Peppa Pig team created the audio that sounded as though it was mixed in the old fashion way as though we were together. Whilst we were pleased to have been able to continue working despite the restrictions, Fonic is very happy at the prospect of returning  to working together in the studio, as there is nothing better than sitting together and crafting. A year apart has definitely made us appreciate the joy of client attended sessions!
