For the last year Fonic has been busy working on the audio post production of a brand new series by Illuminated Film Company called The Rubbish World of Dave Spud.

ITV have confirmed that DAVE SPUD will have its world premiere on CITV on Monday 2nd September

The series follows Dave Spud and the somewhat anarchic, though close knit Spud family and Dave’s friends as they try and enjoy the ordinary things in life, however, with Dave Spud around, it’s never long before the world starts to misbehave!

Featuring Johnny Vegas as the eponymous hero Dave Spud and Gina Yashere as his best friend, Gareth the Starfish, the show major comedy talent continues with the roles of Dave’s Mum, Dad, Sister Anna and battle-axe Gran being performed by Phillip Glenister, Colin McFarlane, Lisa Hammond and Jane Horrocks, respectively.

In addition electronic duo Basement Jaxx (Felix Buxton and Simon Ratcliffe) have provided the music and soundtrack to the series adding their unique rhythm and sounds to the comic adventures.

The distinctive series consists of 26 11-minute episodes and is aimed for children aged 5+
