As part of the 75th anniversary of the Thomas the Tank Engine stories, Mattel and Thomas & Friends will be releasing diverse range of storytelling opportunities throughout 2020. This includes specials, episodes, exclusive YouTube content, a birthday music album, all-new book titles and new partnerships where Thomas & Friends will be show up in unexpected places.

Also included in the celebrations will be a new podcast for kids in the form of audio stories, which Fonic created the audio.

There are 46 episodes which will be released weekly, including origin stories of favourite characters, Thomas versions of fairy tales, and adaptations of previous TV episodes and books. Each episode ranges from five to ten minutes. The US version of the podcast launched on 12 May, the UK version will be launched later this year. As well as working on the podcast we are also proud to have been responsible for the audio for Thomas & Friends since series thirteen, back in 2009. We look forward to celebrating more milestones with Thomas in the years to come and hope the podcast is a huge success!
