Ben & Holly’s Little Kingdom

Ben & Holly’s Little Kingdom is a children’s animation series created by Astley Baker Davies and is the second project Fonic has collaborated on with them (Peppa Pig being the first!). Fonic provided the full post production sound for the two series as well as merchandise and other platforms.

Set in the Little Kingdom which is hidden among thorny brambles where flowers and grass grow above the tallest towers. The show follows the daily activities of the citizens of the kingdom, the fairies and elves and specifically young fairy princess Holly and her best friend, Ben Elf. Being a fairy, Holly has magical powers, but her attempts at magic often go awry — but that is to be expected because even her fairy teacher, Nanny Plum, sometimes has spells that don’t go as planned. Thankfully, Ben is there to help when things don’t go right; although he doesn’t possess magical powers, as he is an elf, he is extremely handy – just like his Dad! Together, Holly and Ben go on adventures with their friends, including Gaston the Ladybird, and work together to fix magical mistakes, misdemeanours and errors.
