Gorillaz X G-Shock Episode 03
To celebrate their partnership with watch brand G-Shock, Gorillaz created three short films about 2-D, Noodle, Russel and Murdoc’s adventures as they set off on a mission to bring G-Shock creator Mr Ibe’s newest line of watches to the galaxy.
A collaborative production between Feed Me Light and Blinkink, directors BRVTVS created a graphic world that gave a funky new edge to creative director Jamie Hewlett’s beloved characters, infusing 2D and 3D animation techniques with illustration and photography.
Fonic worked on the third and final instalment of the series. Not only were we proud to work on a film involving such iconic animated characters, but the story and sound design was a lot of fun!
