Plume of Light

Fonic worked with Plume, the sister studio to animation studio Feed Me Light on their launch film. With a focus on CGI and motion design, this film, plume of light demonstrates the amazing work they produce.

Loosely inspired by the experience of a Kundalini awakening, where energy rises through the body from the base of the spine to the top of the crown, up to the universe and spirit. plume incorporated the five elements (Earth, Water, Fire, Air and Spirit) to take the audience on a journey from the depth of the earth towards light. This varied passage allowed plume to experiment and showcase how they could combine strong animation within a world of realism and design. This was very much the same for Fonic, pushing us to create a sound pallet that conveyed mystical and spiritual themes whilst remaining grounded in realism.
