The Wildlife Trusts – COPS22

Client | Nexus Studio

COP stands for ‘Conference of the Parties’ and are run by the UN providing world leaders a chance to come together to discuss different conventions. COP22 held on 31 October – 12 November 2021 in Glasgow was a conference to talk about climate change and how to tackle it.

The Wildlife Trusts created a short film for the conference to explain their principle ideas to help nature loss and climate change in the UK and beyond. Fonic provided the audio for this colourful and bold film as it explained the need to reduce fossil fuel and green house gas emissions. As well as connecting and resetting salt marshes, woods and peatlands, allowing nature to store carbon which in turn provides clean air and water and reduces extreme weather. Big ideas shared in a simple way, with the audio helping to evoke the joy of nature, whilst also demonstrating the harm we are causing.
