Encouraging curiosity and engaging audiences in the process of scientific exploration and discovery The Cat (played by Martin Short) guides best friends Sally and Nick on adventures around the world in the fantastical Thingamajigger to making science discoveries about plants, animals, the human body and space. Seen through the imaginative eye of The Cat in the Hat, the natural world is revealed to be a truly magical place.

Dr Seuss’ – The Cat in the Hat Knows a Lot About That! was nominated for two Emmy in 2011 including Outstanding Performer in an Animated Program for Martin Short and Outstanding Original Song – Children’s and Animation for David Schweitzer.
The show won a Writers Guild of Canada for Best Script Maps and a Cynopsis Kids !magination Awards for Best TV Series and Best Song for a TV Series.
