Rok Predin’s Back in the Day is a short film that nostalgically captures his childhood memories of growing up in 1980s Slovenia, compressing those experiences into a single day.
The film features a simple yet striking character design, enhanced by a stunning visual style. It showcases a rich palette of warm hues blended with soft pastel textures and the skilful use of colour grading perfectly evokes the essence of the 1980s.
The project was funded by Trunk Animation, with Fonic handling full audio post-production.
