Rok Predin graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Ljubljana, Slovenia and signed with Trunk Animation Studio in 2009. He has created content for The Rolling Stones, Elton John, Madness, Keith Urban and Take That. He’s also directed content for the likes of Jaguar, Coca-Cola and Canon as well as projecting onto Buckingham Palace for the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.

As well as his work with Trunk, Predin makes his own films which have gone on to win awards and be screened at festivals all over the world. He has made more than 10 animated films (as the director, animator, and author of concept), including his latest project, Bimberli, a story about growing up and a tiny girl saying farewell to her childhood.

The tiny girl lives in the old part of the city in an old townhouse with her ‘Bunky’ called Bimberli. Bunkies are magical beings who appear in the first months of a child’s life, and are what many people call an ‘imaginary friends’. They are guardians and faithful companions to the child until they become too big and they have to leave to the Island of Memories. The film follows the tiny girl and Bimberli as they decided it is time for him to leave and they set off on the journey to the Island.
