Following a revamp of its iconic dog and gramophone logo which was taken from an 1899 Francis Baurrad painting and had been used by the brand for more than 90 years, Nexus Studio were given the task of bringing the new characters to life in 11 mini-films entitled ‘Nipper & Gramophone’s Christmas Tales’ all set in a snowy Christmassy world. Venturethree provided the concept, character development, stories and creative direction for the campaign; with the further character development and film direction handled by Fx Goby, director at Nexus. Fonic provided the music and sound effects. The films launched on television, appeared on store’s website and were shown in stores used on marketing materials and an online game too.
