In the summer of 2019 the Michael J Fox Foundation in New York worked with TRUNK animation studio to create a film to describe how Parkinson’s Disease impacts family, how symptoms may manifest and communicate the need for volunteers to take part in testing.
‘Together, We Can Solve the Parkinson Puzzle’ highlights that the answers to Parkinson’s will be found in all of us and the role individuals can play to help scientists piece together a fuller picture of the disease. The film was narrated by Emmy- and Golden Globe-winning actor Alan Alda, who revealed his own Parkinson’s diagnosis in 2018.
Fonic worked with Trunk and the Foundation on the sound design and since then we have collaborated on several more films with explainer films on procedures that help with research and explainer films on what the foundation is aiming to do.
